Grilled cauliflower

Perhaps the easiest barbecue food of the summer is grilled cauliflower. This simple, quickly prepared and healthy summer delight is delicious for everybody including meat lovers.

Ingredients

cauliflower

oil

pepper

salt

(butter)

Instructions

Remove the leaves from the cauliflower and break off bite-size pieces by hand or with a knife. Cover the pieces with oil and season with salt and pepper. Grill them quickly on the barbecue, turning regularly, for 3-5 minutes depending on how hot the barbecue is (the cauliflower should remain crisp). Enjoy on its own or with butter.

As a practical hint, the easiest way is to grill it directly on the barbecue’s grilling plate but, if you don’t have one, use a disposable foil tray.

If necessary, this delicacy can also be made in the oven with the help of the grill.
