Maku turns 10 – and it’s time to celebrate together! We’ve shared small tasters on social media, but soon our entire anniversary collection will arrive in stores. Early autumn brings celebration, emotion, and style – welcome to experience Maku’s 10th anniversary with all your senses.
Maku’s birthday festivities start with a stunning congratulatory cake baked by Teresa Välimäki, guaranteed to make your mouth water at first sight. You’ll find the recipe via the link below.
Throughout the autumn, we’ll be gathering Teresa’s recipes, tips, and videos onto one page. It’s definitely worth visiting, as it will be filled with inspiration and the best ideas from a professional.

CAKE CONTEST
Bake a celebratory cake in your own style to honor Maku Kitchen Life’s anniversary year. What matters most in the contest isn’t skill level but personality, creativity, atmosphere, or even a story that reflects the spirit of Maku. Anyone can take part – the key is joy and love for baking.
Participation period: August 21 – September 21, 2025
The winner will receive a Maku 10th Anniversary product bundle worth approx. €100.
How to participate in the Cake Contest:
👉 Bake a congratulatory cake and post a picture of it on Instagram with the hashtag #OnneaMaku and tag @makukitchenlife.
👉 Explore the gorgeous anniversary collection and mention in your caption what makes your cake special – were you inspired by the collection’s colors, the festive atmosphere, your love of baking, or something else entirely?
The Maku jury will select the winning cake on September 22 and contact the winner via private message.
