The lambstew served as the main course becomes tender and juicy as it cooks with onion, bell pepper and capers. The dish is conveniently prepared in the Maku series enamelled cast iron casserole, where the meat can first be browned on the stovetop and then slowly cooked in the oven. The beautiful casserole can be brought straight to the table for serving.
Gratinated garlic mashed potatoes
The gratinated garlic mash served on the side is made from oven-roasted potatoes that are blended into a smooth mash with a garlic-infused milk and butter mixture. The mash is finished with Parmesan and gratinated in a beautiful enamelled cast iron pan from the Maku series, which is perfect for going straight from the oven to the table.
Fresh salad with apricot vinaigratte
The fresh salad gets its flavour from apple, toasted pecans and a vinaigrette made with dried apricots. The salad is served beautifully in the Maku series blue ribbed serving bowl. Blue drinking glasses and a matching jug complement the setting perfectly, while their small air bubbles give the pieces a light and playful look.
Marinated orange with cardamom white chocolate foam
For dessert, enjoy marinated orange slices with white chocolate foam flavoured with cardamom. The dish is finished in a vintage-inspired Maku steel dessert bowl, which makes the dessert truly striking.
