From kitchen to table, with love – Maku Kitchen Life 10 years
Ten years, countless moments in kitchens and around dining tables. Over the years, Maku Kitchen Life has grown to become part of everyday routines and festive occasions alike — a trusted companion that brings quality, practicality, and the joy of beautiful design into the kitchen.
We celebrated this shared journey by launching, in autumn 2025, a unique anniversary collection that invited everyone to savour the moment with loved ones, good food, and around a shared table.
Now we continue our 10-year journey with a new spring collection, where light, earthy tones and materials meet a fresh blue, and small golden accents in the products once again add that lovely little touch of luxury to your kitchen.
This extensive, thoughtfully curated range offers stunning new additions for both cooking and table setting. The collection’s materials, shades, and details radiate a timeless atmosphere and bring a hint of everyday luxury — exactly what makes the Maku brand so beloved.
Sarka pattern
To celebrate the next decade of our brand, we designed a new Sarka pattern, which features widely across the 10th anniversary range as well as products in upcoming collections.
The roots of the Sarka pattern lie in the vegetable garden: nature-inspired colours, botanical motifs, and bold ink strokes give the pattern its distinctive look. A small French marigold (Tagetes patula) motif extracted from the Sarka pattern has lent its name to a more simplified version of the design, Sarka Patula.
Hannele Kiviniemi
The Sarka pattern was designed by the accomplished Finnish designer Hannele Kiviniemi. Nature’s elements often recur in Hannele’s versatile work, bringing a harmonious and delicate atmosphere to her patterns.
A light, springtime version has now been added to the Sarka range, where lighter and darker beige combine beautifully with pale blue.
Teresa Välimäki as Maku Brand Ambassador
Our anniversary year is crowned by Teresa Välimäki — a respected chef and a familiar TV personality — who has joined us in creating Maku’s celebratory moments.
Throughout spring 2026, we’ll be receiving loads of new, delicious recipes and other content from Teresa, bringing variety and inspiration to our kitchens.
